i am the girl
i am the girl who makes bad first impressions, who feels a bit of a flake, who never know quite what to say.
i am the girl who is very much in touch with her feelings and senses, who also tends to lay it on with a trowel. i am the girl who gets affected by even the little-lest things. i am the girl who is fairly resilient; that after a maximum amount of moping, she can get back in the saddle of the horse that threw her.
i am the girl who has been trying to make things better, who has been looking at the bright side of life, and the plus side of people. and i am the girl who will get tired of doing so. yes, for a girl with a modicum of intelligence, she is never naive.
i am the girl who treasures the little simple pleasures of life, but who is afraid that happy times would just vanish into thin air without acknowlegdment, who silently hopes that she isnt taken for granted.
i am the friend who, though a little lacking in the advice and help departments, sticks by her friend through thick and thin; until recently, she starts thinking about living life for herself once in a while and not in someone else's shadow.
i am the friend that has no time, that has been too lazy or that has been cliqueish. i am the friend that has been generous, only to be taken advantage of. i am the friend that is sarcastic, witty and funny, but never together. i am the friend whom once made, will be forever loyal provided contact is maintained. i am the friend who has tried to reinvent, to be more sociable.
i am the friend who helps whenever she can volunteeringly. i am the friend who will sacrifice to an extent. i am the friend who will send you care packages, hoping for some form of recognition.
i am the true friend to at least one, my pets.
